BAPTISM SUIT FOR A BOY

The hat is knitted according to this pattern. Only I knitted 3-4 constricting rows to make horns, and then an openwork stripe, like on a blouse. I did not knit the strip in a circle, so that the width of the hat could be adjusted on the head with a lace. Looks very interesting on a baby

A charming baptism set, a photo of which I saw on the Internet, and it sank into my soul. I really wanted to tie him up, but I couldn’t find a reason, it seemed like there was no one, but the dream of him never left me. And now the time has come - and we have a daughter. It is clear that there is a lot of trouble, because Small child- bottles, diapers... But between all these worries, I still found time for a little dream)) I knitted according to the photo, which is why everything didn’t work out right away. So I decided to make a detailed step-by-step master class, to make the robot easier for girls who will also want to knit it. I think it will make your work a lot easier ;)

Scheme - volumetric flower, not suitable. That's why I linked my version based on the picture, as for me, it is no different. But I still attach the diagrams that I gave

I’ll say right away that I took a lot of photos during the work process. For this reason, I will do the master class in parts. So:

Part I - we knit the yoke of the dress and the hem with the main pattern.

For my kit I took threads white Italian manufacturer. In my opinion it will look more festive. Besides, I still couldn’t find a suitable shade of yarn that I liked.
I knitted my set for my 5-month-old daughter, and intentionally made the dress and booties a little larger so that I could wear them at least a couple more times in the future.

For knitting you will need: about 400 grams of Filo Di Scozia yarn No. 5 white, which contains 100% cotton, 226 meters per 50 grams, as well as a hook No. 1.6 and ribbons for decorations.

Dress

We start knitting from the yoke. We cast on 100 air loops.

In the 13th loop we knit *2 double crochets, 1 chain crochet, 2 double crochets*

Then 24 double crochets, and again from *to*

So we repeat 2 more basics, after which we tie the remaining 12 loops with double crochets. The first row is ready.

We knit the second row in the same way with double crochets. Only now there will be more of them. First we knit 14 double crochets, then we knit from * to * into the hole of the previous row. Then we continue in the same spirit.

There should be 6 rows of double crochets in total.

In the seventh row we change the pattern a little. So, two lifting loops, then two more unknitted double crochets, which we finally connect everything together.

And double crochet in the same loop before. row. Then double crochet again, only after two loops of the previous row.

Chain loop and double crochet in the same loop of the previous row.

In the dirochka on the corner we knit again from * to *

And then again after two. Thus we knit the row to the end.

We are starting the eighth row, in the future a satin ribbon will be threaded there. Three lifting loops, three double crochets, and then we knit two double crochets into the tick of the previous row. Then we knit three double crochets into each tick of the previous row. The beginning and end of the 7th and 8th row, as well as at the corners, have to be modified in order to maintain the required number of loops in the row.

We knit the corner of the eighth row like this: two double crochets in the loops of the previous row, then in the hole from * to *, and again 2 double crochets in the loops of the previous row.

After this, we knit two more rows with double crochets, then we also knit the next row with double crochets, and having reached the corner, we begin to perform the moment from * to the air loops, that is, we knit two double crochets into the hole of the next row, and then proceed as follows:

We knit 7 air loops (this will be like an armhole for the sleeve, as well as the missing loops for the main pattern of the hem of the dress).

We knit the next two double crochets into the other (next) hole of the previous row, thus connecting the two corners and folding the yoke in half.

This is what it should look like.

Having tied to the end of the row, we connect the two edges of the yoke of the future dress.

We carry out the manipulation using a connecting post.

In the future, a satin ribbon will also be threaded here.

At the end of the row we connect.

And we knit two double crochets through one loop of the previous row, and then again two chain loops.

So we continue to alternate until the end of the row - two double crochets through one loop of the previous row, two chain loops.

We finish the row with one double crochet.

We connect it with three lifting loops.

And then, using connecting columns, we move to the next two double crochets and reach an arch (hole) made of two air loops (in total we make 5 connecting columns plus the first one with which we finished the previous row). We carry out this manipulation so that the pattern in the dress is in the middle.

We begin knitting the main pattern of five air loops.

Now we knit two double crochets in the same arch.

In the next arch we knit two double crochets, then two chain stitches and again two double crochets. We repeat the same thing with the next arch.

Next we knit five chain stitches, then a single crochet in the next arch, again five chain loops and a single crochet in the next arch, and five more chain loops, after which we repeat two double crochets in the arch, two chain loops, two stitches again and so three arches in a row.

This is how it should work out.

We finish the row with five chain loops and a double crochet in the arch from which we started knitting this row.

We make three lifting air loops.

We make five chain loops, then a double crochet for the first arch of the previous row of five chain loops, then three chain loops.

And in the next arch of the previous row of five chain stitches we knit two double crochets, then a picot of four chain stitches and again two double crochets. Then we fasten three air loops with a single crochet into a free arch of five air loops from the previous row.

We knit five air loops and repeat the pattern of the previous row until the next moment from the arches of air loops, which we repeat as the previous one.

We finish the row exactly like the previous one, make three lifting air loops and knit further.

We reach the moment with air loops, knit five air loops, a single crochet in the arch of the previous row of three air loops, then five air loops, again a single crochet in an arch of three air loops.

This is how the pattern turns out.

I got more rows of the main pattern than the author. I wanted the dress to completely cover my baby's legs. And she has no problems with growth, just like mommy))

I tried to make a diagram for the bells:

Sugar the bells, sew the bell rings to the ends of the white satin ribbon.

Crowns for costumes"The Snow Queen":

Knit with "Maxi" yarn.

Knit according to the circular pattern, casting on the required number of ch. by head circumference:

Sew a snowflake into the middle of the crown.
Neck decoration (or headband) and brooch:
Knit with YarnArt “Summer” yarn
Knit leaves for flowers according to the pattern:

Sew the leaves together, 5 pieces per layer, collecting the flower (the bottom layer is large leaves, the top layer is smaller leaves). Sew 5 beads in the middle.
For a brooch, attach a brooch clasp to the back.

To decorate your neck (or headband), tie a caterpillar cord with bumps at the ends and attach it to a flower.

Track cord:

Crochet a chain of 2 air loops.

1 dc in the 2nd loop from the hook,

Turn the work clockwise.
Insert the hook into the resulting two parallel loops lying next to each other and knit one single crochet,

Rotate work clockwise

Knit in the same way until the required length of the cord is obtained.

Hide the tails in a cord.

Cones (2 pcs):

Knit in a spiral.

Dial 2 ch..

10 rubles: st. knit 2 tbsp together from the previous row. (6 st.b/n.)
11 p.: st. knit 2 tbsp together from the previous row. (3 st.b/n.)

Fill the cone with soft filling.

Crochet gloves-mitts:

Knit with YarnArt “Summer” yarn.

Mittens consist of knitted rings connected to each other during the knitting process.
Close the ring with 14 chain stitches, tie the ring with 30 st/bn.

You can knit gloves without breaking the thread to the desired length and required wrist girth, moving to the next row using connecting posts. Rows are knitted in a checkerboard pattern.

For the hole under thumb Do not knit one ring in the penultimate row. Knit gloves to the desired length. I got 6 circles around the circumference of my arm and 6 circles in height. Sew a snowflake to the glove.

The New Year's costume “Snow Queen” for a girl is ready!

The most important moment is the christening of the child. This is more important than any holiday, because on this day the baby gets the opportunity to join the church, and his soul gets a chance for salvation. Mom and Dad are very excited about this day. But everything can be made a little easier if you prepare for this day in advance. For example, knitting a beautiful dress with your own hands for a christening.

This product can be easily put on your baby after bathing. It will look beautiful and according to church traditions.

But the most interesting thing is that all kinds of ruffles and flowers can distract the baby and he often stops crying and begins to look at the decorations of his outfit. Several models beautiful dresses

for a girl's christening, using a hook.

Therefore, here you can choose only their cotton models and you will only have to choose the thickness, since the color is mainly used in white or other pastel colors.

The hook should be the perfect size, usually there is a small hint for it on the skein of yarn itself.

Sample

A sample before creating a christening dress will show how many loops are needed in width and height. Therefore, you should not be lazy and it is better to complete a small square than to unravel the whole product after an incorrect set.

We knitted it and looked at how many loops there would be in 10 cm, and how many rows there would be. Everything was transferred to the patterns and you can start creating the model.

Baptism dress for girls with fillet mesh

Very beautiful model and is very similar to the very first models of baptismal shirts using a hook. It is no coincidence that such a familiar fillet knitting motif with roses.

The work requires:

  • iris yarn;
  • hook 0.85.

Measurements

It is very important for the model to make a good stock. The point is not that the model will need to be put on the baby after bathing. But in the future, according to tradition, this dress will be useful for the baby. Add 10 cm to your model.

Front shelf

To complete this, you need to cast on the number of loops and calculate how much fillet mesh to knit before and after the pattern. The pattern must be made in the center of the shelf. For the armhole, make square bevels. For each side, simply close 4 squares of fillet mesh.

Important! Please note that the buttons are intended for the back, and the front shelf is a one-piece product.

Rear shelf parts

The diagram for the rear shelves is also shown and the armhole is made at the same level as the armholes for the front shelf.

Sleeves

Cast on one repeat of the pattern for the sleeve (this is for a 1-year-old model) and knit a complete repeat in height. Then just move on to the fillet mesh and finish knitting the sleeves after 10 rows. Also knit the second sleeve.

Hem

The most interesting and unusual detail is the hem of the christening dress. It is knitted with a simple strip across the product. It’s better to knit it separately and then just sew it on. The width of the strip is, accordingly, the length of the product. But the width of the hem helps to adjust the length of the strip, very interesting. The longer the strip, the more magnificent this detail will be in the work. For a year old, 7 rapports were knitted.

Assembly

I really liked the lace around the edge of the skirt, and when will we talk about them. To make everything look neat, you will first need to do the assembly, that is, sew on all the parts. But then we’ll do the binding and lace detail, among other things.

First, we combine the shelves and sew them in the shoulder areas, then we sew in the sleeves and then sew on the hem strip. It is very important not to rush here, but to achieve even folds along the hem. It is better to first stitch or pin with pins and only after matching, sew with a running stitch.

Harness Tie the neckline with one row of double crochets

. But along the line of the buttons, tie the edges with two rows of single crochets. Make holes on one side. One hole is made like this: a double crochet is skipped and one chain loop is knitted instead. Make holes at a distance of 7 cm from each other along the entire length of the edge. The border at the bottom of the hem is made using the diagram below. Knit one row along the entire edge.

The model is ready and all that remains is to sew on the buttons. Mother-of-pearl buttons look good on white. Making a baptismal dress is not that difficult. Moreover, the presence of diagrams and good description

only encourages the master to complete the product without problems.
