1. I had a nail hardener about a year ago, then I was trying to urgently grow my nails for a wedding and took the first thing that came to hand at the pharmacy. :) This is a transparent varnish, it has a characteristic smell, gives your nails a well-groomed look and a moist shine. I only painted my nails with it for almost a month, during which time my nails did not break, and at the wedding they were just 4 millimeters, but for me this is a record. :) I didn’t notice any strengthening properties, it’s just that, most likely, due to the dense coating of the hardener, the nails became somewhat stronger and therefore did not break. As soon as I erased the hardener, all my problems were in place. :(

About 3 months after the purchase, the hardener somehow began to leak, became cloudy, and when the cat knocked over the CLOSED bottle, the varnish flowed out onto the windowsill and managed to harden tightly before I noticed. :(I didn’t find any cracks on the bottle, and I don’t know how the polish could have leaked. And I threw away the half-used bottle. By the way, the polish was noticeably yellowing my nails, it started after about a month of use.

2. I have a gel for thickening nails now, I used it about three weeks ago, instead of a base for a manicure and sometimes solo, the same transparent wet shine. I noticed that my nails really became thicker and stronger, and when I stopped the “course” at 2 weeks, I started using only regular varnishes, the nails still didn’t break. Just yesterday I reapplied the gel to my nails and they are already noticeably harder. I don't know how to explain this quick result, but I like the gel. :) When I wash it off, my nails remain just as strong even without any polish. There are rave reviews of this gel on the Internet; girls write that it’s simply fantastic and that in 2 weeks their nails grow almost 3 cm. :) I can’t say this, but the gel really helps me, but I think it needs to be used in courses, either every time or every other time, so that the result lasts a long time.

Conclusion - the first product for me is just a transparent varnish without any effect, you can cover your nails (although, maybe it just didn’t suit me), I won’t buy any more.

I like the thickening gel, in 2 months I’ve only used a third of it, it’s very economical, and when I run out I’ll either buy it again or try something new, but in any case, I think I’ll come back to it. Try it too!
