DIY monument with eternal flame. How to make an eternal flame with your own hands

A bright fire made of felt, smoldering coals made of sticks, foil and New Year's garland - it is impossible to take your eyes off such beauty. Definitely do it safefire on New Year at home or offer to make an interesting craft for your friends for a school performance. The New Year's decorations will certainly be appreciated by both guests and spectators.

How to make a fire from felt?

Soft and pleasant to the touch felt will be an excellent basis for creating a New Year's bonfire. A bright colors will not leave him a chance to go unnoticed.

You will need:

  • felt in yellow, red and orange colors,
  • scissors,
  • threads or glue,
  • filler (synthetic fluff) - optional,
  • paper templates,
  • sticks and stones.

Hard felt with a thickness of 1.2 mm is ideal for work.

1. Make three arbitrary templates - tongues of fire: large, slightly smaller and very small. Transfer to felt.

2. The fire must consist of two parts, each of which must have five layers. The biggest one is red. On both sides of it, glue two smaller pieces: orange and yellow. Now make the cuts to create the 3D effect later.

3. Collect some sticks and stones from the street, wash them and dry them. Collect the hearth parts.

Congratulations! The fairy fire is lit.

But if you want to do fire in the shape of a soft toy, make six parts: two large, two smaller and two smallest. Sew as shown in the photo below and fill with synthetic down. To create a fabulous fire, you need to sew together three three-dimensional parts.

If desired, make soft toys such as firewood, cookies and marshmallows from felt.

With such a fire you can arrange various children's games: jump over it; “cook” food over a fire, imagining yourself as fairy-tale characters; play Indians and even learn English - why not?

Making a fire from lace and garland

Mysterious atmosphere, flickering tongues of “fire” and crackling foil... It seems that this fireplace was lit by some fairy fairy. Another moment - and the timid sparks will swirl in a whimsical dance and flare up with a bright flame. A bonfire made of lace and garlands is an excellent decoration for a New Year's fairy tale.

You will need:

  • lace ribbons,
  • branches,
  • foil,
  • PVA glue,
  • stationery knife,
  • white paint and brush,
  • stones,
  • New Year's garland.

1. Wrap the chopsticks in foil.

2. Make a solution of PVA glue and water: one tablespoon of glue per liter of water. Cover the lace with several layers of mortar to stiffen the ribbons.

3. Wrap each branch tightly with lace. Leave to dry overnight.

4. When the glue is completely dry, use a utility knife to cut the lace along the sticks.

5. Carefully remove the branches and remaining foil from the shell.

Voila! The lace firewood is ready.

6. Light a fire. Make a small circle of stones and place a garland inside. Make sure that the outlet is close and you can easily turn on the lights.

7. Add some wood to the fire. If necessary, clamp them with stones. Add more stones for effect.

A cozy fire is ready to warm you with its hot fire.

Of course, you have a lot of acting skills, and with such scenery on stage, the audience will certainly give you a standing ovation.

Happy holidays and let the flames creative ideas never fades!

about the importance of this event. We are inventing various ways the manner in which we read, watch films, do something with our own hands. Today I propose to make a craft with the children - the Eternal Flame memorial.

So , Eternal flame - a symbol of the unfading glory of those who fought for our freedom. Our memory of their heroism and exploits. Our respect and gratitude to all those who fell in battle and survived these scary days our history...

And for the craft we will need:

  • bilateral colored paper
  • red and green table napkins
  • toothpicks or skewers
  • scissors
  • shoe box lid.

Take the lid from a shoe box. We cover it with black paper (you can paint it with paints, or leave it unchanged if it is black). This is our future pedestal for the Eternal Flame.

Cut out of paper orange color volumetric star. Read more about this.

And cut out fire from red paper. We make a small hole in the center of the star and thread a fire through it. To keep the “fire” on the back side, we make a small cut and glue it to the inside of the star. Glue the star itself to the center of the box.

We make carnations. To do this, take a table napkin. Typically, each napkin has three layers. Divide it into three thin napkins. Take one and fold it in half. Then in half again. We get a square. If you first fold together not one, but two separated layers of napkins, then at this stage you can already cut out the cloves. It will be larger in shape. But I needed smaller carnations. Therefore, we fold the napkin twice more. It turns out like this square, the center of which is fastened with a stapler.

Cut out a circle. Fluff the edges a little.

We make cuts in a circle, without cutting to the middle.

Fluff the edges and lift slightly towards the center. All the cloves are ready.

Toothpicks or small skewers should be wrapped in a green napkin and the edges glued together. We also cut out the leaves. Glue the resulting flower stems near the star onto the box. On top we glue the heads of our flowers.

This Eternal Flame will not only decorate a room, but will also serve as an excellent educational material and a gift for a veteran.

Have you decided to please your dear old people? Or did the children bring home an assignment from school to do a craft for May 9th?

Such an unshakable symbol as Eternal flame, perfect for this!

The following master class will help you.

Craft for May 9: eternal flame made of paper

This craft option is easy to make, so it’s perfect for kindergarten or primary classes schools.

Necessary materials:

  • cardboard box;
  • colored paper red, orange, gray, yellow (or cardboard);
  • PVA glue (or double-sided tape);
  • blue wire;
  • paper baskets for sweets;
  • red paint and brush;
  • drawing (photo, sticker) of a soldier at a post.

Step-by-step instruction:

1. Let's start with the basics. Any small (but preferably) flat box will do for it. Glue the box onto the cardboard to create a pedestal. Cover the pedestal with red paper, the rest with gray. Glue a strip of cardboard down (see photo) so that its edges form stands for the soldiers.

Note: in this case, a candy box is used, from which, if desired, it is easy to make voluminous postcard. To do this, you need to cover the box with colored paper on all sides.

2. Star. On gray paper, draw (or print) stars of different sizes. Cut out the stars and glue them onto the base from largest to smallest. This way we will achieve some volume.

3. Fire. Draw a flame of the eternal flame at random and cut it out. If desired, you can make 3 layers: red, orange, yellow. Glue the layers together (note that corrugated cardboard is used here, but regular cardboard and colored paper will work). Glue the fire onto the star, bending the lower part with your hands like a stand and covering it with glue.

4. Cut out photos of guards and paste them onto a strip of cardboard. Fold the strip over to form a triangle and glue the edges together. For frames that have guards, cut out 2 strips of paper (paper used here golden color) and, bending their edges, glue them to the base, as shown in the photo.

5. Making carnations. Let's add volume to our craft. Pierce paper baskets with blue wire (can be replaced with strips of cardboard). Paint the flowers.

Note: flowers can be made from white and/or red napkins. For example, fold napkins with your hands in the shape of a triangle and round it at one edge. Then, attach stems from strips of green paper to them.

6. Cut out the flag and helmet and glue it to the pedestal.

7. Place flowers as you wish. Glue them with double-sided tape.

As a result, we will get such a wonderful craft that will serve good decoration holiday on May 9!

DIY craft for May 9th: three-dimensional star

You will need:

  • colored paper for applique (yellow or orange for the “star”, blue or gray for the “pedestal”);
  • corrugated paper for the “eternal flame” (yellow, red or crimson);
  • corrugated paper for “carnations”, “grass”;
  • soft copper wire, scissors;
  • PVA glue, glue gun;
  • markers.

Note: when folding volumetric star All folds of paper must be carefully ironed so that the craft has clear edges.

Step-by-step instruction:

1. Cut out a square of yellow paper (10x10 cm). Bend it in half away from you (the fold should “look” at you).

2. Bend the resulting rectangle again to form two small squares.

3. Unfold the rectangle and place it with the fold facing you. Bend the right square diagonally from the lower right corner to the middle of the rectangle.

4. Then we bend the same square along the second diagonal, also towards the middle of the rectangle.

5. Unbend the resulting star blank: the right square has two diagonal folds.

6. Fold the lower left corner of the left square forward towards the center of the diagonal folds of the right square.

7. Bend the top of the left square back, aligning the edge with the left fold.

8. The result should be something like this.

9. Fold the workpiece back, as in photo 7. We wrap the right side under the left bent square.

10. Bend the left corner back, under the bent part of the star. The result is a design like this.

11. From a large square we get several bent triangles.

12. Bend the upper triangle forward.

13. The fold of this triangle is the cutting line for excess parts of the workpiece.

14. Using sharp scissors, cut off the part of the workpiece that is no longer needed.

15. It turns out like this, an asterisk folded in three.

16. We unfold the star carefully so that all the folds are preserved.

17. Two rays of the star “look” outward, as it should be, and three rays must be bent in the opposite direction, aligning the rays along the length. This is what the star looks like from the inside.

18. And this is what a three-dimensional star looks like from the front side.

You can watch the entire process of making a three-dimensional star in the video “making a star.”

Making the gift doesn’t end there, because we only made its main part – the star.

Victory Day - the Great Day is celebrated “with tears in our eyes” not only by veterans of the Great Patriotic War, but also by their children, their grandchildren, their great-grandchildren. In that unforgettable holiday we will once again remember the heroism, valor, patriotism and glory of all the defenders of our Great Motherland from the ordinary soldier to the marshal, and the no less feat of the home front workers who did not leave the factory machines in the cities for days; they plowed, sowed and reaped in the villages. The entire burden of exorbitant labor behind enemy lines during the hard times of war fell on the fragile women's shoulders and on fragile teenage children. Victory Day is a holiday in honor of all those who defended peace on our land! Glory to them and our deepest bow. And to all those who gave their lives on the battlefields, who later died from wounds, who were tortured in fascist camps - eternal memory!

From the heroes of old
Sometimes there are no names left.
Those who accepted mortal combat,
They became just earth, grass.
Only their formidable valor
Settled in the hearts of the living.
This eternal flame
We are bequeathed alone,
We keep it in our chests.
Vladimir Zlatoustovsky

Making the “Eternal Flame” applique.

I would like to suggest making an applique from colored fluorescent paper (self-adhesive). It is very convenient to work with such paper. We trace the part according to the template and cut it out. Then the protective film is removed and the part is glued to the cardboard.
We will be working with scissors, so we need to remember how to handle scissors while working.
When working with scissors, observe the following rules:
1. Keep your workplace tidy.
2. Before work, check the serviceability of the tools.
3. Do not use loose scissors. Use scissors with rounded ends.
4. Work only with serviceable tools: well-adjusted and sharpened scissors.
5. Use scissors only at your workplace.
6. Watch the movement of the blades while working.
7. Place the scissors with the rings facing you.
8. Feed the scissors rings forward.
9. Don't leave scissors open.
10. Store scissors in a case with the blades facing down.
11. Don't play with scissors, don't bring scissors to your face.
12. Use scissors as intended.

Let's prepare the templates.

Using templates, we will prepare the necessary details for the application. For the fire, choose orange and yellow paper. For the star you need to take red paper. For numbers and flowers, you can use purple (blue) paper. For stems and leaves - green paper. You can choose the color of the cardboard to your taste, the main thing is that the application is clearly visible.

Let's choose a sheet of cardboard for the applique. Place the applique horizontally.
1. Cut out a star and stick it in the middle of a sheet of cardboard.

2. Glue the fire:
cut out and glue the orange part, overlaying it on the star;

cut out the yellow part and glue it, overlaying it on the orange part.

3. Cut out flower stems and glue them to the bottom of a sheet of cardboard.

4. Cut out small flowers and glue them around the stems.
Glue flowers around one stem.

Glue it around the second stem.

5. Cut out and glue the green leaves.
Glue the leaves onto the stem of the first flower.

Glue the leaves onto the stem of the second flower.

6. Cut out and paste the years of the beginning and end of the Great Patriotic War.
Let's paste the numbers 1941.

Let's paste the numbers 1945.

The “Eternal Flame” application is ready.
Can you suggest something a little different? color scheme. And for fire, you can take the second version of the proposed templates. The application will look like this.

Eternal memory to those who fell in the Great Patriotic War!
We remember! We are proud! The Great Patriotic War has not been forgotten. It is extremely important that the younger generation, from the very beginning early age knew about the feat of their ancestors. There is still an opportunity to meet with participants of the Second World War, to whom, by the way, you can give a handmade craft for May 9th. For example, the eternal flame.

Materials and tools:

Cardboard box;
- colored cardboard;
- office paper;
- colored paper
- corrugated paper;
- felt-tip pen;
- scissors;
- stapler;
- pencil;
- ballpoint pen refill;
- ruler;
- stencil;
- glue.

DIY “Eternal Flame” craft

On cardboard of blue color using a stencil we write 1941-1945.

From corrugated paper red, cut out a strip 4.5 cm wide and fold it like an accordion, draw a circle with a diameter of 4 cm, and then cut it out, we immediately got several circles. We take 6-7 circles and fold them in half, fasten them with a stapler, and cut the fringe with scissors. Fluff it up and you get a carnation.

Glue them onto cardboard.

We cut out strips of 9*6 cm from green corrugated paper, roll them into a roll, glue the tip, and also cut out 4 leaves. Glue the stems with leaves.

We also cut out 4 trapezoidal strips and glue them to the flowers.

We cut out 2 doves from offset paper, and from corrugated paper white– 3 (the template can be taken from here).

We glue the dove from offset paper and corrugated paper. We cover the second one with corrugated paper on both sides. We got 2 doves, we glue them together, leaving the wing free. Glue the dove onto the cardboard and draw an eye for it with a felt-tip pen.

Let's move on to the bottom. Cardboard box(you can take it from under sweets, in our case it is from under cookies with high sides, which must be cut off, leaving a height of 4 cm and covered with white corrugated paper). From paper Brown We cut strips of 6-3 cm. We glue them like tiles, cutting them along the edges to the desired size.

It is better to cut the pedestal out of foam plastic, but you can make it out of cardboard, like ours. It is cut out according to a template (which you can take) and glued together.

First we glue the cardboard with the dove and carnations to the inside of the box, and then the pedestal.

On back side Using red cardboard, draw a star from 2 triangles with sides of 8 cm so that the rays are 2.3 cm high.

We bend the rays inward.

We cut from one side between 2 rays to the middle (the cut is marked with a thick line).

Bend the star 3 times from different sides.

We glue the rays between which the cut is located, placing one on top of the other. We got a 5-pointed convex star.

Glue the star onto the pedestal.

From red corrugated paper we cut out several leaves pointed towards the top. different sizes. We glue them together below - we get a fire fluttering in the wind. Cut off the very top of the star (literally 1-2 mm) and use a toothpick (needle) to insert the fire into the resulting hole.

Made from corrugated paper in green, blue, yellow color cut squares measuring 4*4 cm, take a pen rod, apply it to the center of the square and crumple the paper around the rod with your hands - you get a trim.

We lay out flowers on the sides of the pedestal and in front of it: a yellow core, a circle of blue paper and a circle of green.

We write by hand, print out those typed on a computer, or use a stencil to write 2 separate inscriptions: “we remember” and “we are proud.” Glue them to the sides. So we have successfully made a DIY craft for May 9th with our own hands. Happy Victory Day, dear handicraftsmen!
